How should I prepare for my facial?

Prior to your facial treatment, it is best to refrain from using skincare products containing exfoliants and retinols for at least 5 days prior to your treatment. Please come to your facial appointment without make-up. Refraining from sun exposure and sunburns, permanent make-up application, and facial waxing is advised for at least 2 weeks prior to your treatment as well as avoiding alcohol the night before treatment. Please tell your physician if you have a history of cold sores or underlying skin disorders. It is also best to avoid a facial during an acne flare up.

What should I expect during and after my facial?

Each facial offers a double cleansing and exfoliation as well as a gentle massage to upper neck, arms and hands. Dermaplaning, steam therapy and manual extractions may also be used. Medical-grade corrective serums, masques, and moisturizers are then used to specifically target your skin concerns. Meet with our licensed medical aesthetician to discuss your skin concerns to receive the maxiumum benefit from each visit.

Depending on the facial selected and the patient, you may experience some redness. Generally, there is now downtime after a facial but it is recommended to avoid reapplication of make-up until the next day to allow for best results.
